[ her emotional state is amused as she looks! there's some excitement, some skepticism, a lot of curiosity, a general undercurrent of confusion coupled with resignation of the "this may as well happen" variety. there's also a metric ton of "aaaaaaaaaaa" (anxiety)(guilt)(terror) quietly buried underneath all that. bottom of the prio list. everything else on top is way more vivid ]
